PAT Testing Certificate

Once your business has been successfully PAT Tested you will receive a test report as well as a PAT Testing Certificate. The PAT Testing Certificate is great to display in your premises to show your compliance and professionalism. You can also have the certificate as a PDF. This is great for sending to interested parties if you are looking to CHAS accreditation for example, the PDF can easily be attached to an email and sent straight away.

Housing Association

Back again working for a busy housing ascociation based in Boston. Have completed the offices already and am now looking forward to travelling round the sheltered housing and field offices. Similar to Landlords anything electrical that the association provide to their tenants must be safe to use. Some are provided with a fridge and a small cooker, these must be check to show the do pose a risk.

August 2015

Have just spent the afternoon calling clients and organising my diary for August. Lots of returning customers I’m looking forward to seeing again and lots of new customers to meet. I always think it’s nice that when you call previous customers that they remember who you are and straight away wan’t to book again for this year.

So far booked in for August I have amongst many others A Scouts group, A day centre for the disabled, Residential housing for the disabled, 3 Restaurants, Nursing, Two Nature Reserves and Visitor Centre, Local offices of 2 childrens charities, A Dentist, A Church and Church Hall. Thats just within the first 10 days!

7th July

This week I have begun testing for a large manufacturing business in Peterborough. Have done this PAT Testing for the for the last few years now. Very large warehouse and a variety of items to test. Takes 2 weeks from one side of the factory to the other!

Wheres the Sunshine?

Have very much enjoyed the last few days testing for the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. Completed the offices on Fri and was looking forward to visiting some of the reserves today  in the glorious British sunshine. But where is it? Was raining so hard on the way home I nearly had to pull over.

Hopefully things will improve for the rest of the week as I’m testing equipment for a local Civil Engineering company. 3 days on the road exploring our lovely county.

Back testing for LWT again next month hope the weather improves for then.

Monday 15th June

Good start to the week. Finished testing at the garage then moved swiftly on to the sheltered Housing. Both were repeat customers from last year and good to see the garage had expanded with a larger valeting unit just round the corner.

Top failure today. A brand new 25 meter extension cable where when originally wired the earth was cut too short, so instead of just starting again they didn’t bother connecting it at all. Top marks to the chap who wired this!

Other failures included a 4 way extension cable which had been overloaded by a tumble dryer, kettle and a toaster. Also a Blower heater with the inner core showing and requiring a rewire.
